On Thursday Youth Parliamentarians who served on the parish and national levels will be awarded for their contributions and exemplary performances delivered at the sittings.
The award ceremony and dinner will be held at the Grenada Youth and Cultural Center.
The Youth Parliament serves as a mechanism to involve youth in debating the present issues faced by young people and by extension the country.
The national and parish youth parliament is a national discussion platform provided by the division of youth development to encourage young people to become vocal through active debates.
Meanwhile, the division of youth development is appealing to people interested in acquiring skills and knowledge about parliamentary procedures and other aspects of Grenada’s democratic system, to answer the call and become part of the national and parish youth debates.
