Michael Finley who is the new Head Coach of Grenada’s National Senior Men’s Team says despite the challenges of the pandemic, preparations are going ahead smoothly for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers.
He says the current situation has allowed them to focus on the domestic players while evaluating and assessing the competency of the national team.
Finley who also acts as GFA’s Football Development Manager says foreign based players would be added as they get closer to the international window.
The Spice Boyz Head Coach says in this first round of qualifiers, Grenada has been drawn with El Salvador, US Virgins Islands, Antigua, and Barbuda, and Monserrat.
He says the team will have to be well organized, intelligent and their application tactically sound as they play El Salvador twice away from home to garner some results which will set them up for future matches.
