Tuesday 20th April saw the launch of the West Indies school of hospitality in collaboration with E-Cornell University, the online education department of New York-based E-Cornell University which offers various online certifications.
Individuals in the hospitality sector through their respective hotels can now access education that will be directly relevant to their line of work.

Minister for tourism, Dr. Clarice Modeste-Curwen also welcomed the hospitality school as a means to revive the tourism sector heavily impacted by the covid-19 pandemic.
Courses such as service excellence, hospitality leadership, and food and beverage management will be made available to Grenadians. Hospitality workers including managers, supervisors and general service staff will be eligible for scholarships.
