The Ministry of Health recorded an additional 54 new COVID 19 cases bringing the total confirmed active cases on island to 380. Since the removal of all mandated COVID 19 restrictions on April 4th, Grenada’s confirmed COVID 19 cases continue to increase.
The general public is constantly reminded to protect themselves despite the need for normalcy.
Chief medical officer Dr. Shawn Charles in his latest appearance at the Government post-cabinet briefing reminds Grenadians to continue to wear their mask and practice other personal protective protocols.
He says this is not a time to be laid back and relax as the virus is very much alive
According to the Ministry of Health’s latest COVID 19 dashboard Grenada has recorded 14, 629 confirmed cases, and 14, 029 recoveries since the initial outbreak of the COVID 19 virus two years ago. 7 individuals are presently hospitalized with the virus with 2 severely ill, while the recorded death toll is 220.
So far Grenada has administered 87,861 doses of vaccine with 33.7% of the total population fully vaccinated and 4.6% partially vaccinated.
