As the Maurice Bishop International Airport celebrates 35 years in operations, a number of hard working individuals were rewarded for their service over these past years.
On Monday long standing employees together with support agencies were awarded for their services during the 35 years of operation at Grenada’s international airport, the Maurice Bishop International Airport.
Some of the awardees who contributed 35 years of service included Roystan Pierre, Willard De Allie, Hubert Whyte, Margaret John and Debra Charles.
Other airport officials recognized for 30-34 years of service were Fletcher Frank, Nash Griffith, Desmond Baptiste and Peter Robertson.
Delivering the keynote address was Bishop Clyde Harvey who emphasized the importance of working collectively to bring about harmony, regardless of one’s assigned department.
As part of the Grenada Airport Authority’s corporate responsibility a number of donations were also given, to several charitable organizations across the island during the 35th anniversary thanksgiving and award ceremony.
