Residents of the Limes Grand Anse, St. George’s will soon take a breath of fresh air, as the mountain of rubbish accumulated for months will soon be out of sight.
One young man is willing to volunteer his time towards cleaning up the mound of garbage collected by one ‘sexy’ of the Limes St. George’s.
Jamie Bishop says as a young person he was moved, realizing the effect this can have on people’s health. He is hoping that others can join him in the cleanup or contribute anything towards the cause.
Minister for health and parliamentary representative, Nickolas Steele promised in one weeks’ time something will be done.
Speaking to the minister earlier today, he welcomed Jamie’s willingness and says he too will assist with additional workmen and equipment to have the rubbish removed.
This is expected to take place this weekend.
