Grenadians are sceptical about taking the covid 19 vaccines.
Some believe it’s an attempt to depopulate the world based on postings they’ve seen on social media and other platforms.
According to a recent statement by health minister Nickolas Steele, there are a few vaccines that are being considered, however, the first batch should be on island later this year.
Prime minister Dr. Keith Mitchell during a face-to-face press conference with media professionals gave the assurance that no one will be pressured into taking the vaccine. However front-line workers will be among the first to receive it.
While some are of the view that not enough research went into the vaccines before being administered, others are saying they will go in accordance with the authority.
Other individuals believe there should be a different approach to treatment or cure of the virus.
