POLICE HAVE CONFIRMED THAT THE BODY DISCOVERED IN A ROOM AT THE NATIONAL CRICKET STADIUM   ON FRIDAY EVENING IS THAT OF 55 YEAR OLD SAMUEL FLINCH OF DARBEAU ST GEORGE.

FLINCH’S BODY WAS ALLEGLY FOUND BY AN EMPLOYEE OF THE STADIUM SOME TIME AFTER THREE ON FRIDAY. THE POLICE WERE CALLED TO THE SCENE AND THE BODY WAS LATER REMOVED.

SAMUEL IS SAID TO HAVE BEEN AN EMPLOYEE AT THE STATE-OWNED GRENADA GRAVEL CONCRETE & EMULSION PRODUCTION CORPORATION.

THE CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING HIS DEATH REMAIN UNDER INVESTIGATION AS THE RESULTS OF A POSTMORTEM ARE STILL PENDING.
