Principal of St. Joseph’s Convent St. George’s Jill Viechweg-Philbert is congratulating students on the excellent performance at this year’s CXC examinations.
The school claimed 9 of the top performers spots.
The below statement was issued by the Principal on Thursday.
“The St. Joseph’s Convent, St. George’s is ecstatic by the performance of our students in the 2019 CXC (CSEC) Examinations. We thank God above all, as we believe that this is a perfect example of His unending grace and blessings upon us.
It is truly a humbling experience to have as many as nine (9) students named on the list of Grenada’s top performers. Hearty congratulations to Aleisha Roberts and Olivia Antoine being our most outstanding students. Congratulations also to the other exceptional performers from our school – Sarah Logie, Breanna Salfarlie, Kendra John, Kirla John, Shilony Morain, Chrissel Smith and Maxeen Cox. Hats off to the excellent performers from all other institutions. We are proud of all our girls who sat exams, as they too have done extremely well.
These results are a direct reflection of the commitment and perseverance of our industrious Teachers, we must express extreme gratitude to them for their dedication amidst all the challenges faced this school year.
Our school’s motto “Laborare est orare” means “To work is to pray”, therefore we put God first in everything we do. We will continue to put in the effort and do all that we can to produce well-rounded young women, who understand the value of hardwork, purpose, service above self and spirituality.
Once again, congrats and best wishes to all.”
