The St Andrew’s Development Organisation in collaboration with Pink Ribbon Society is hosting its annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk 2019, on Saturday October 26th.

The walk will start at Tivoli and end at Grenville Car Park.

Participants will have the opportunity to win prizes during the event.

Prizes such as gift certificates, appliances and gym membership are just a few of the exciting items available for lucky winners, made possible through various sponsors.

This year’s walk is proudly sponsored by Be All Natural, Netherlands Insurance, M&N Hardware, Bossfm,TOPPFM,  Digicel Grenada, St Andrew’s Pharmacy, Hills & Valley Pharmacy, Jr. Star Distributions, Glenelg, Courts Grenada, Ariza Credit Union, Fit for Life, Just Cool Photography, Doyle Panchoo Photography, Benmo, Fresh Produce & Badges R Us and Mitchell’s Health & Wellness.

The awareness walk is also supported by SJC Grenville Drama Club, the Girl Guides of SAASS and SJC Grenville.

Participants will have also the opportunity to partake in the motivational healing session, which will be led by Fr Edward Mark of the Anglican Church of Grenada.

There will be four (4) fresh produce vendors providing coconut water, fresh local juice, fruits and vegetables for sale.

Donation boxes along the route will be handled by the Leo’s Club of St Andrew and the Rotaract Grenada East.

Pink Ribbon tokens will be also on sale and all the proceeds goes to the Pink Ribbon Society of Grenada.

Ms. Mina Booker – Coordinator for this year’s walk is very pleased with the level of support received thus far.

T shirts will be available for distribution from Monday 21 – Friday 25th at the SADO’s office, Grand Bras, St Andrew.

Ms. Booker is encouraging the entire population to go out and support this initiative, and not let the victims/survivors walk alone.
