Republic Bank Grenada Ltd is celebrating forty years.
The bank began serving Grenada in October 15 1979 under The National Commercial Bank brand.
The bank recently acquired another financial institution on its 40 year landmark, Managing Director Keith Johnson says one of the developments they are looking forward to is that of changing their banking platform.
This change according to Johnson should be effected by the middle of 2020.
It would allow the bank to offer more up to date services.
With its latest acquisition, Republic Bank is giving the assurance, that all Scotia’s employees will be kept on board.
Republic bank has given the commitment that sponsorship of Intercol, which was a significant undertaking of Scotia bank will remain, as it continues with youth and community development initiatives.
Republic’s 40th anniversary celebrations began with a church service and recognition of its employees.
