Officials in the ministry of infrastructure development are calling on bus operators and owners to exercise patience as they are aware of their complaints regarding the issuing of bus stickers.
Minister for infrastructure development Norland Cox said while there are some challenges in the process, stickers will be distributed soon.
Minister for infrastructure development Norland Cox says some of the challenges faced in the issuing of over 30 bus route stickers applications was the transition process of the transport board to the transport commission.
He said this placed all applications on hold until the process was completed. In addition to this, he said some applications failed to meet the requirements as he outlined other challenges.
The minister says they are aware of the frustration expressed by bus owners on the long issuing process, but explains that they are working within the guidelines of the procedure.
Minister Cox is calling on owners to practice patience as his ministry is willing to work along with them toward application approval.
