The industrial impasse at the TA Marryshow Community College has finally met its complete end as president of the public workers Union Brian grimes announced an amicable resolution on Friday.

The Grenada Union of Teachers ended its impasse earlier this week however Public Workers Union had noted several outstanding issues.

Those issues were resolved on Friday.

This was announced by the President of the Public Workers Union, Brian Grimes.

While commending the workers at TAMCC for their resilience and patience, Grimes says with the financial issues resolved the union sought to ensure there was not a repeat of the 4-month impasse.

The PWU President says workers also chose to forgo their deserved interest.

Another of the outstanding issues was the demand by workers for the statement of accounts which was negotiated between the union and the TAMCC Council to be received on September 1st.

The final and most critical outstanding issue resolved was TAMCC workers represented by PWU demanding a documented agreement to ensure the retroactive payments are made.
