There’s no truth to any price increase for hospital services. That’s according to permanent secretary within the ministry of health Hannah St. Paul.
Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Hannah St. Paul responds to claims of an increased price for hospital services.
Information circulating on social media in the past week suggests that pregnant women now have to pay a fee of four hundred and five dollars before giving birth.
However, this claim was quickly dismissed by the PS.
The PS further explained that persons accessing theatre services will have to do a PCR test which has a cost associated with it. That fee is four hundred and five dollars.
