As part of his one-day visit to Barbados on Thursday, Prime Minister, Dickon Mitchell attended a Prime Minister’s Brunch with regional Business Leaders on the neighboring island. The activity aimed at creating partnerships with businesses and discussing issues that affecting the region, along with finding solutions.

The opportunity was also used to develop strong partnerships that address the issues of inter-regional traveling. Prime Minister Mitchell was among a team of delegates who departed Grenada to Barbados to promote Grenada and what it has to offer for travelers

He was accompanied by Minister for Civil Aviation Dennis Cornwall, Minister for Tourism Lennox Andrew, and officials from the Grenada Tourism Authority.

GTA CEO Petra Roach spoke of the trip and outlined the other stakeholders that accompanied the team.


Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell returned to Grenada on Thursday evening, while Minister Lennox Andrew remained on the neighboring island to further promote Grenada and continue talks on inter-regional traveling with stakeholders.
