A Grenadian crew was attacked by pirates on Monday.
One crew member onboard the “Content 3” who prefers to remain anonymous, spoke to GBN on Wednesday, recounting what transpired.
He said at around midday, after removing the fishing lines from the water, a boat approached their vessel and three fully armed men came onboard, demanding food, water, cell phones and other devices.
The incident occurred approx. 70 miles North West of Grenada.
He is of the view that the Spanish speaking assailants were Venezuelan.
The matter has since been reported to the criminal investigation department and is under investigation.
