Last week GBN aired a story where concerns were raised about the safety of the Pearls Bridge to both motorists and pedestrians.
On Monday February 24th, a release was issued by the traffic department of the RGPF together with the ministry of works, declaring that the bridge unsafe and that it will be closed to vehicular traffic as it is unsafe.
