Grenada’s Parliament has been prorogued.
A notice from the Clerk of Parliament issued on Friday stated that on the advice of deputy to the Governor General, Dr. Sir Lawrence Joseph, a proclamation dated September 23, 2019, prorogued the second session of the tenth parliament.
A second advisory informed that the ceremonial state opening of the third session of the 10th parliament is scheduled for next Friday, October 4.
That session is scheduled to begin at 10am at the Parliament Chamber, Mt. Wheldale, St. George’s.
