Easter is celebrated by Christians as a joyous holiday because it represents the fulfillment of the prophecies of the Old Testament and the revelation of God’s plan for all of humankind. In commemorating the Resurrection of Jesus, Easter also celebrates the defeat of death and the hope of salvation.

It is at this time of the year that people spend time with family and loved ones and as part of the Easter tradition, many engage in the flying of kites however this is one aspect that seems to be dwindling.

Attorney at Law Anslem Clouden shared his belief that fewer young people part take in much of our traditional activities.

He said while technology has its perks it also has its fall-outs, as it takes people away from socialization and community activities, creating an even wider generational gap.

The attorney says parents and grandparents need to step in and spend more time with the nation’s youth and share their knowledge with them in order to revive what once was.

The lawyer is encouraging families to put down the devices and use the Easter holidays to practice cultural and traditional activities thereby bonding more with their children.
