Students and teachers from 3 schools started the Hillary school term in a more comfortable and teaching friendly environment.
The new structures are the solution to the many issues faced by the schools over the years.
Students and teachers of the Brizan and Happy Hill pre-schools are now operating under one roof, as a new structure was constructed to merge both schools.
Minister for Education, Emmalin Pierre, says she is happy with the level of cooperation received from all parties involved in the fusion of the schools.
On the other side of the island, students at the Paradise Pre-school will have a new learning facility to occupy within weeks. The new structure is located next to Progress Park in St Andrew and is one that is long-awaited as both parents and teachers have in the past expressed their concerns about the present location of the school.
Minister Pierre says parents can now rest their minds on this.
Both projects fall under the ministry’s initiative to enhance school infrastructure, thereby creating a better learning institution for all students across the island.
