Grenada last Friday launched a new hotel project.

The difference this time is that the hotel will be constructed in the parish of St David.

Range Developments last Friday hosted the ground breaking ceremony for the island’s newest resort, Six Senses La Sagesse, Grenada

The resort is scheduled to be opened in 2022 and according to the developers, it will create more than 500 jobs during construction, with many more opportunities arising during operations.

Speaking at the ground breaking ceremony, Managing Director and Board Member of Range Developments, Mohammed Asaria, says he sees nothing but success for the investors and Grenada.

Minister for Tourism, Clarice Modeste-Curwen says Grenada welcomes the new hotel as it will change the rural tourism landscape.

Parliamentary Representative for St David Oliver Joseph, while celebrating the launch of the first hotel project in his constituency, says that additional land was identified for the second Range Developments hotel project in St David.

Prime Minister Dr Keith Mitchell who was at the ceremony, said the launch of the project is a demonstration of where Grenada is at this time.
