Added to the responsibility of coordinating information related to COVID-19 from government and other state agencies, NaDMA’s Emergency Operation Center at its Richmond Hill Headquarters was also tasked with providing quarantine support which includes contact tracing and assisting with the psycho-social response to COVID-19.
The Emergency Operation Center was established in April and has been working with the social services department and the Ministry of Health.
NaDMA has been ensuring that the quarantine rules were established and followed and the Royal Grenada Police Force provide security as part of the quarantine support.
