Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell says financial assistance is coming for residents of Mt. Rodney St. Patrick directly affected by the Breakwater project.
The project came into question once again in recent days, as major erosion continue to threaten homes and claiming other properties.
Many are of the mindset that the 4.8 million dollar project constructed with the intention of improving and protecting the coastline has caused more harm than good.
One marine biologist along with other environmentalists’ say it appears that not enough thought has gone into the studies conducted before the project’s implementation.
