Grenada has far exceeded the Caribbean region’s average percentage pass rate in English at the CESEC/CXC level.
This was revealed by Minister with Responsibility for Tertiary Education in the Ministry of Education Hon Pamela Moses, during government’s post cabinet briefing last week Wednesday.
She said, however, that mathematics remains a work in progress.
Minister Moses said Mathematics continues to produce below average results, an area that she acknowledges needs some attention.
As preparations continue for the re-opening of schools in the first Monday of September, Minister Moses said many schools are presently under renovation and is assuring parents that work will be completed in time for the re-opening of school.
