LOCAL FISHER FOLK BENEFIT FROM WORKSHOP ON CLIMATE CHANGE IMPACTS

Grenada is among seven countries to benefit from the Caribbean network of Fisher folk Organisation (CNFO) – Climate Change Adaptation in the Eastern Caribbean Fisheries Sector (CC4FISH) project’s series of national fisher folk meetings held across those countries.

The CC4FISH is geared at building awareness of climate change impacts and vulnerability for effective climate change adaptation in the fisheries sector.

Climate change continues to be one of the contributors of negative impacts on the fisheries sector, placing small scale fishers’ livelihoods vulnerable and at risk.
