Gut President General Lydon Lewis is officially back to his substantive role in the classroom, a teacher at the St. Andrew’s Anglican Secondary School.
However, he still holds the position of leader of the Grenada Union of Teachers.
In speaking to GBN on Wednesday, Lewis confirmed his tenure as executive officer has ended and as a result, he is back in the classroom.
The confident Lewis said however he will still be able to effectively execute his role as both union leader and teacher, moving forward.
Lewis further added that the work to rule is still in progress as promised and a meeting with the teaching fraternity will held, once a year for the ongoing work to rule has elapsed.
