The creation of respiratory illnesses through the breathing in of fumes from the ongoing blaze at the perseverance landfill is now a growing concern for Grenada and especially the communities affected.
This is more so now than ever, with the onslaught of the Covid-19 pandemic which is proving to have adverse effects on those who have prevailing upper respiratory diseases.
The Grenada solid waste management authority has sought to address the situation at the landfill.
