Grenada’s Jaguar Kirani James dominated his heats in a time of 44.94 seconds at the IAAF World Championships.
Running out of lane two in the second of 6 heats in Doha, Qatar, James stamped his authority on the men’s 400m heats, in a bid to secure his chances of reclaiming the World Championships title.
James’ closest rival was Japan’s Julian Jrummi Walsh in a person best time of 45.14 secs.
The USA’s Vernon Norwood placed third with 45.59 secs
The Semi Finals is carded for tomorrow Wednesday, at 1.35pm local time.
All the action is being carried live on GBN Television, Channels 7 and 11.
