As Grenadians continue to contemplate the announcement that the Maurice Bishop International Airport will accept Caribbean Commercial Flights from July 15th, the discussion on the reopening of borders continues regionally.

In the latest episode of ECCB Digital Dialogues hosted by ECCB Governor Timothy Antoine; Pandemic and Tourism was the topic debated.

The Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Allen Chastanet and Tourism Expert Vincent Vanderpool-Wallace shared their views on the region’s readiness to reopen its borders and the future of tourism amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Grenada will from August 1st accept international flights from countries listed as Medium-risk, such as Canada, the United Kingdom and other countries in the European Union.
