Healing of the Nation Crusade 2019 is rolling into the parish of St. Mark’s.
The annual event will run from May 12th – 17th at the Alston George Park in St. Mark.
Pastor Benedict Newton, General Secretary for healing of the Nation Crusade, claims that the crusade have had positive life changing effects since its inception in 1989.
As the name suggests, the Crusade will be taken throughout each parish on the island, with expectations of healing.
Pastor Newton explains the focus for this year will be on salvation, drawing people’s attention for the need for faith in God, healing, deliverance and bringing the evangelical churches together.
The first healing of the nation crusade was held back in 1989 in the parish of St. David.
Amidst the issues and problems of the world, the pastor believes the crusades gives answers that politicians cannot provide.
‘There is hope beyond what we experience in the physical. God is offering something greater, something better, both for the now and for the future’ pastor explained.
The crusade is open to everyone, regardless of denomination.
The theme for this years’ crusade is “bring the whole Gospel to the whole nation”.
