Within just 45 minutes of launching, the groundbreaking Supercharged Training Series for Grenadian tourism professionals, sold 10 out of 150 available seats – a new record for the CHTA Education Foundation who has been hosting trainings like this all over the Caribbean in recent years!

The Grenada Hotel and Tourism Organization has organized the series to sharpen tourism and hospitality skills.

Wednesday’s Supercharged launch was attended by hoteliers, property executives, officials of the Grenada Tourism Authority and other agencies.

It’s being executed in partnership with the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Education Foundation.

Tourism Minister, Lennox Andrews emphasized the importance of knowledge enhancement.

He was impressed with what was exhibited at the launch.

The Supercharged Tourism Project will run through the second and third weeks of July.

Special rates are available for members of the Grenada Hotel and Tourism Organization, while non-members are able to sign up for a stipulated fee.

A special incentive will be offered for participants from Carriacou and Petit Martinique.

The first 24 people who register from both islands will get  a free ferry ride to Grenada and one night complimentary accommodation.

In a surprise announcement, The Sandals Foundation was revealed as a significant sponsor, with the Tourism Enhancement Fund also making a substantial investment
