As measures to curb the social and economic effects of covid19 continue, a recent initiative to suspend debt service for the rest of the year has been embraced by government.
Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Dr. Keith Mitchell, has welcomed the Paris Club Debt Service Suspension Initiative (DSSI), which will grant the country suspension of debt service between May and December 2020.
