Infrastructure Minister Norland Cox says contrary to beliefs significant work has been done on the Gouyave Health Center.
Located at the foot of Dr. Belle in Gouyave, St John, the facility was expected to be completed last year.
Minister Cox says the project completion has been delayed by an electrical issue surrounding a pole to be replaced by Grenlec as well as some boundary matters to be addressed.
The minister notes that there were some additional delays with the progress of construction due to changes in the scope of work needed however that has been finalized.
