Bureaucracy was the hindering factor for the Grenada Association of Poultry Producers to receive the emergency supply of feed from Trinidad on Saturday.
The emergency supply sought to immediately address the plight of poultry farmers who have been suffering enormous losses due to starving birds caused by the lack of local feed.
The boat carrying the feed remained docked at the CARICOM Jetty since its arrival at 9 am, awaiting permission to be granted to unload.
