Grenadians have been empowered with the opportunity to make contributions to the standards that will govern the code of practice for tattoo parlours and body piercing facilities.
This code of practice is one of four draft standards released by the Grenada Bureau of Standards, in which public comments are invited.
Draft specifications for pneumatic passenger tyres, hollow concrete blocks and packaged water are the other standards that are being currently reviewed.
Head of the standardization division Lyna Belgrave says under the draft code of practice for tattoo parlours and body piercing facilities, requirements for sanitary and hygienic operations as well as best practices is outlined.
Belgrave says Grenadians can share their comments on the standards from February 1st to April 1st.
People can visit the office or send in written comments to the director of the Grenada Bureau of Standards.
