After over a year of immense challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic which resulted in some businesses which service the industry closing their doors and massive job loss, the tourism sector in Grenada is now looking to reboots itself.
According to Minister for tourism Clarice Modeste-Curwen they are in discussions with two ships that are expected to come to the island in July.
The minister said she is working with health officials and other relevant authorities to put protocols in place for the ship’s arrival.
The Minister said they have also been following the guidelines of the Center for Disease Control in this regard.
Minister Modeste-Curwen was speaking at governments’ weekly post-cabinet briefing.
