Health officials in Grenada and other countries around the world, are getting nervous again.
Just when they thought that the Corona Virus was bidding them farewell, It’s climbing the charts.
The Biden administration in the U.S. is issuing a new warning that the US could potentially see 100 million Covid-19 infections this year.
Here in Grenada latest stats from the Health Ministry point to rising numbers of infections. On the weekend, health officials reported 180 new and 855 active cases.
This comes as the local populace settles into the comfort of the eased restrictions including mask mandates.
In the last six weeks there has been an uptick in political gatherings, weekend fetes soca shows, and other public events.
