International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

During her official address to mark International Women’s Day 2021, Minister for Social Development Delma Thomas lauded women for once again proving their resilience having found themselves in the center of the covid19 pandemic – With that in mind, Minister Thomas said the theme for this year is very fitting.
