This question was posed to former political leader of the National Democratic Congress Nazim Burke by host of GBN’s Election Watch program Joseph Cadore on Wednesday.
Burke who is a former finance minister in response said the pension issue must first be quantified.
He reiterated the magnitude of the pension payment must be determined taking into consideration the categories and number of workers affected.
The former finance minister welcomes the three-month period which he hopes a secretariat or office can be installed to verify and calculate the numbers.
Burke believes this will begin the solution as negotiations on how government will pay following the module developed.
