Minister for health Nickolas Steele admits that the situation experienced at the limes pre-school is a long standing issue and promises to find a solution in quick time.
GBN contacted the minister on Tuesday following the outcry of parents on Monday, who says it has been seven years since the occurrence.
The unsanitary condition is not the only problem affecting the children attending the three schools in the area.
The main access road is in a deplorable state.
Parents say when it rains the road becomes a pool rendering it impassible especially for the pre-school children and those at the Grand Anse Mennonite School.
Parents believe this should be given priority.
Parliamentary representative for St. George’s South, Nickolas Steele promised to also address this.
