Some Grenadians in two of the rural parishes were preparing for Tropical Storm Dorian on Monday, and some fisher folks on the eastern side are concerned with the storage of their vessel during the storm.
The fishermen in the north of the island said the break water project serves as a safe haven for the vessels, as they are prepared for the approaching weather system.
Meanwhile, fisher folk on the eastern side of the island said their greatest concern at this time is proper facilities to secure their vessels during the storm.
One popular shopping spot on main street Sauteurs, Kalico shopping center, was busy as residents in and around St Patrick stocked up on items from canned goods to batteries, as they prepared for the system.
