The preparations for the Windward Islands School Games are underway.
Some of the players representing Grenada in the basketball tournament were seen putting in some preparatory work.
One of the coaches from the ministry of sport Najaska Jeremiah says a team of eight will be selected to represent the island.
She added that the team has performed remarkably well in the past.
Ms. Jeremiah says preparations are going well and only the best players will be selected.
The games will be held in St. Vincent.
