Accidents, violence and a house fire all in one weekend. Members of the Royal Grenada Police Force were busy on the extended Labor Day weekend.

Corporal Kuadina Douglas Mclean attached to the community Relations department provided the updates.

Thirty-four accidents reported, one of which was major from Friday April 29th to Monday May 2nd.

Officers attached to the traffic department were busy as a spate of accidents was reported.

On Sunday morning, a vehicle flipped into a residential property at Morne Jaloux.

Several reports indicated that it was hit from behind and the impact of the crash sent the vehicle spinning out of control.

Reports say that the driver escaped with minor cuts and was taken to hospital.

The Police official said fortunately there was no loss of life reported among the number of injuries.

There were also reports of acts of violence which resulted in one individual being hospitalized nursing an injury.

A man is left without a home in St Andrew following the complete destruction of his home by fire in Simon St. Andrew on Monday.
