Carriacou’s first major cruise call for the year sailed into port yesterday.
The island welcomed ‘Sea Cloud’ on Sunday, the first ‘big boat’ for the 2018/2019 winter cruise season.
Visitors were treated to the sweet sounds of steel pan at the Tyrrel Bay Port, which opened last October and thereafter taken on an island tour.
The tour culminated on Paradise beach, where visitors were able to enjoy many cultural experiences, as well as local produce and products.
The sister isles will see its second major ship arriving on Sunday, February 17th.
An earlier cruise schedule by the Grenada Tourism Authority said Carriacou can expect 6 major calls this season.
