Three people have died and many others injured after a truck and a passenger bus collided in Westerhall this afternoon.
The accident occurred just after 3 O clock this afternoon as the bus was travelling towards the north east of the island.
Video circulating on social media show people injured and visibly shaken and some giving assistance to those trapped in the bus.
Police on the scene have cordoned off the area and the ambulance and a fire tender are on the scene.
Police are yet to dispatch additional information as recovery efforts continue.
