Twenty-seven boys successfully completed an intensive two day youth leadership program aimed at identifying and grooming potential leaders.

The Youth Leadership Program, funded by the U.K. Government’s Chevening Alumni Project Fund, was held at the Presentation Brothers College (PBC) covering two Saturdays; February 20th and February 27th.

The presenters covered topics that included Communication, Critical Awareness, Social Media for Emerging Leaders, Problem Solving and Embracing Opportunities.

Resident British Commissioner- Wendy Freeman in an interview with GBN gave an overview of the initiative and its importance.

The British Commissioner explained the Chevening Alumni’s critical role in the initiative.

Tokens and certificates were given to the participants upon completion of the course. The British High Commissioner says other initiatives will be undertaken for this year as the alumni focus on other priority areas in society.
