The move is being implemented by the Royal Grenada Police Force.
The lawmen carried out a similar operation in the town of St.George a few weeks ago, to ease pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
An announcement of the move was made during a recent media brief facilitated by Police Commissioner Edvin Martin.
Police and vendors met on Monday evening to talk about the pending changes.
Some vendors expressed concern that the change may affect their sales but they have agreed to work along with the police.
GBN News understands people who ply their trade inside the Grenville Car Park on Saturdays would also be impacted.
