Skills For Dealing With Battered Women

The ministry of social development has partnered with the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives, to undertake a training programme for the staff at the Cedar’s Home for Abused Women. The fifteen day programme begins today March 2nd All employees of the Cedar’s Home are soon to undergo the training in a number of areas. Senior programme officer in the ministry of social development Elaine Henry Mc Queen explains. The CFLI (Canada Fund For Local Initiatives) has sponsored the project and the training will be facilitated by officials from the ministry of social development and other local professionals. Mrs. Mc Queen describes the start of the training as very timely.
